Nadia's Gift was created with the goal of identifying and supporting the most impactful research that focuses on the most aggressive forms of breast cancer. In pursuit of this goal, the foundation's work will often be in support of early stage, high risk projects. Two of the initial efforts supported by Nadia's Gift were seed grants to researchers at Stanford University's Cancer Center, which enabled the investigation of promising new approaches to fighting the disease. These are now underway. As Stanford's Cancer Center has been so instrumental to Nadia's care over time, the foundation will remain close to Stanford and follow their research efforts to identify future projects. However, the foundation's objective is to also develop relationships with other leading Cancer Centers and their researchers in pursuit of its goal. Nadia's husband Peter, and Nadia's sister in law Kathy will perform as trustee's to ensure that these goals are met.
